Collectives are not governed by individuals (presidents, managers, etc.). Instead, we are governed by our promises to, or agreements with, one another. Though we may make use of individual facilitation at times, and elect particular official positions such as a secretary or coordinator, these positions are always held accountable to the general membership through our governing documents, which outline what the membership expects from these individuals and the extent and limits of their decision-making power. Our governing documents are nothing more than a written record of our agreements together.
Articles of Association – This is the document to govern all documents.
Basics of the Black Cat Collective – This is a pamphlet that has the Articles, Organizational Principles, and Satellite Organizations.
